Where to meet
Good public places to meet a notary in Upper Makefield.
Most clients have us come to their home or office — that's the whole point of a mobile notary. But if you'd rather meet somewhere public, these are possible locations near Upper Makefield Township. They are not Bucks Notary offices, partners or guaranteed appointment venues. We confirm permission, hours and a suitable private space before meeting.
A friendly State Street café locals actually know by name. Casual, welcoming, and right in walkable Newtown Borough.
A quiet, historic little library two blocks off Main Street — ideal when you'd rather sign somewhere calm than in the weekend bustle downtown.

Prepare for your Upper Makefield appointment
Each person receiving a notarial act must personally appear at this in-person appointment. Bring a current, unexpired passport, driver’s license, or government-issued nondriver ID. If you cannot provide one, call before booking to discuss whether another lawful identification method is available; acceptance is not guaranteed.
For an acknowledgment, a document may already be signed, but the signer must appear and acknowledge the signature. A verification on oath or affirmation (often called a jurat), or signature witnessing, requires signing in the notary’s presence. Ask the document preparer or receiving institution which act is required; we cannot choose it for you.
Arrange any required eligible witnesses yourself, following your document preparer’s instructions. We do not provide documents or legal advice. Review service-specific preparation and separate travel, service and notarial fees before booking. We are a mobile service by appointment, not a walk-in storefront.
Upper Makefield questions
Notary answers for Upper Makefield residents.
We travel by appointment to homes, offices and agreed locations in Upper Makefield. Suggested public locations are not our offices or partners, and permission, hours and privacy must be confirmed. There is no walk-in storefront.
Travel fees are based on total round-trip mileage from our Newtown-area service base. Notarial acts are charged according to the Pennsylvania statutory fee schedule for the requested act, plus a mobile travel fee based on total round-trip mileage — $35–$150 within 40 miles, custom quote beyond. Standard loan signings are $150 ($175 with scanbacks). Estate document signing appointments start at $150. Complex multi-document executions are quoted based on the number of documents, signers, witnesses, notarial acts, appointment length, and location. Simple individual documents such as a single power of attorney or affidavit do not automatically require an estate signing appointment and may be priced under standard mobile notary rates. A $25 deposit secures your mobile appointment and is applied toward the total at service. Beyond 40 total round-trip miles, Bucks Notary will confirm pricing before the appointment is finalized.

Loan signing pricing applies to real-estate closing packages coordinated with a lender or title company. Simple individual estate-related documents, including powers of attorney, may use standard mobile notary rates. Larger estate document signing appointments are a separate specialty service starting at $150. Exact pricing depends on scope and is confirmed before the appointment.
Call to coordinate a hospital, rehabilitation or assisted-living visit. Access and the ability to lawfully complete the act must be confirmed. An unconscious or unwilling signer cannot participate, and relatives cannot waive the requirements.
Advertised service prices reflect the service amount before any permitted credit-card surcharge. Eligible credit-card payments may include a 3% surcharge to offset card-processing costs.
